Description of problem:
When running a autogen for a piece of software that calls /usr/bin/pkg-config I get the following error
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... /usr/bin/pkg-config: line 7: /usr/bin/x86_64-redhat-linux-pkg-config: No such file or directory
