Sorry for my absence. I've been so busy recently I haven't been able to dedicate enough time to investigate this issue.

Fortunately, now that I've got some days free, I can finally get back to this issue.

I have been able to understand what was happening, it seems to have been an unfortunate mistake by upstream.
