Description Andreas Karis 2020-11-09 21:17:04 UTC
Description of problem:

As you can see here, we only have documentation for scaling up and out:

# Scaling up and out - supported

Scaling doc: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openshift_container_storage/4.4/html/managing_openshift_container_storage/scaling-storage-nodes_aws-vmware#scaling-up-storage-by-adding-capacity-to-your-openshift-container-storage-nodes-using-local-storage-devices_aws-vmware

Do we support scaling in? E.g., from count: 4 to count: 3.

If so, what steps need to be taken to do so?

If we do not support scale in operations, can we make this explicit in our documentation?

Hi Anjana, this is not planned for 4.10 and I don't know to which ODF version it is planned to
