Description of problem: We have a 4.2 TB RAID mounted via NFS. When a user runs OpenOffice and selects "Open" no files show up in the displayed dialog box. (Even with '*.*'). The user is able to type the name of the file and open it that way, or copy the file(s) to the local HD (regular size) and see it in the dialog box. Previously when we have found a similar problem, its has been because of the absence of Large File System support compiled into the particular binary. The brave could consider rebuilding the src.rpm with export CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64" export CXXFLAGS="$CXXFLAGS -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64" before %configure in the spec caolanm->james968: ote that if this is important to you on RHEL-3, you need to raise this though your RHEL-3 support route rather than through bugzilla.
