Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 191450
tuxpaint icon does not appear in menus
Last modified: 2007-11-30 17:11:32 EST
Description of problem:
After istallation tuxpaint does not appear in the Gnome menus. Works fine when
run from terminal.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install tuxpaint
No icon in menu
I had exactly the same problem.
Same product description.
Found a workaround : remove one line in the corresponding
fedora-tuxpaint.desktop file :
Changing it to UTF-8 does also do the job.
Don't know if it is a correct way of fixing it up though.
The real fix is to properly convert the desktop file entries to UTF-8. The
next release (should be available in a few days) should be fixed.
Please verify that the current package works correctly.
