Description Ganesh Payelkar 2021-01-25 17:37:02 UTC
Description of problem:

[RFE] Need an option to list or see a token that was generated by Global Registrations if I switch to a Different page of satellite 6

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
satellite-6.9 Beta

How reproducible:
New registration

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Use the new feature of Global registration.
2. Satellite WebUI -> Hosts -> All Hosts -> Register Host
3. Register a client system using the generated curl command.
4. Now click on the Cancel button of the Registrations --> Register Host

Actual results:

If you click on the cancel button by mistake of the registration page which created a Token then you can not list out the old Token
Here either you have to copy that Token somewhere until his Token Time ends.

Expected results:

If I have set a Token for a longer period of time then I can have the list, so that I can use it again after a certain time.

If I can't have a list of active tokens, is there a way to have controls around the global registration template's token life? As an example, Administer >> Settings >> Provisioning >> "Max Registration Token Time" and can be set from 0 (disable tokens) to unlimited.

Thank you for your interest in Red Hat Satellite. We have evaluated this request, and while we recognize that it is a valid request, we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. This is due to other priorities for the product, and not a reflection on the request itself. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this feel free to contact your Red Hat Account Team. Thank you.
