Description of problem:

ESC key should revert to the GRUB menu. Currently it drops to grub> since I think 2.04-35.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. GRUB menu
2. press ESC 
3.

Actual results:

grub>


Expected results:

Should always return to grub menu

Variations:

'c' key
press ESC goes to menu
press ESC again goes to grub> and can't get back

'e' key
ESC twice and you're stuck again; or if you just hold ESC too long
