Description Jay Fenlason 2006-06-05 11:49:15 EDT
Description of problem:
I ran yum -y update while running the 2215 rawhide kernel and saw it do
Removed: kernel-PAE.i686 0:2.6.16-1.2215_FC6 kernel-devel.i686
0:2.6.16-1.2215_FC6 kernel-kdump.i686 0:2.6.16-1.2215_FC6
I did a uname -a to confirm I was actually running the kernel it had just
removed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
yum-2.6.1-3

How reproducible:
I haven't tried

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:
Yum deleted the 2215 kernel while it was running
rpm -q -a | egrep kernel | sort shows
kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2218_FC6
kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2245_FC6
kernel-kdump-2.6.16-1.2218_FC6
kernel-kdump-2.6.16-1.2245_FC6
kernel-PAE-2.6.16-1.2218_FC6
kernel-PAE-2.6.16-1.2245_FC6

Expected results:
Yum should have left the 2215 kernel that was running, and perhaps deleted the
2218 kernel instead.
