Description Timothée Floure 2021-03-28 09:14:59 UTC
Quatebrowser support more advanced adblocking, making use of Brave's engine, since 2.0. It would be nice to have the dependencies for this feature packaged in Fedora.

Said dependencies are, however, somewhat painful to package: they use a custom build system and depend on a fairly big amount of Rust crates which I don't really want to package right now. You'll find more details on the wiki: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Fnux/qutebrowser#Advanced_Adblocking

In the meantime / workaround: I built a COPR repository where I maintain the packages with most dependencies bundled (works, but not fitting for main repository).
