Description of problem:
Upgraded to kernel 2.6.17-1.2139_FC5 and now have no audio with analog channels
and nothing with HD channels
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Just try tvtime to watch an analog channel. Or mplayer for an HD channel.
Steps to Reproduce:
I have not been able to find anything in the logs that indicate there is a
problem. Firmware gets loaded. Running applications in a window there is nothing
logged that indicates a problem.
In doing more testing I discovered that I had used the wrong HD channel
configuration file. So the HD QAM functions are working but not the analog audio.
Everything had been working with kernel kernel-2.6.16-1.2133_FC5.
A new kernel update has been released (Version: 2.6.18-1.2200.fc5)
based upon a new upstream kernel release.
Please retest against this new kernel, as a large number of patches
go into each upstream release, possibly including changes that
may address this problem.
