Description of problem: Normal operations after fresh install of fc34 workstation ISO 5/31/2021 as kvm guest using qxl/spice. First command after first log in is 'dnf upgrade' followed by reboot. Then: xrandr hangs, spice-vdagent cut/paste, auto-screen size changes don't work in kvm guest under qxl. Workaround restores normal operations, disabling wayland. Change /etc/gdm/custom.conf to # GDM configuration storage [daemon] # Uncomment the line below to force the login screen to use Xorg WaylandEnable=false DefaultSession=gnome-xorg.desktop -- Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 34 workstation How reproducible: Every time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install fc34 workstation as a kvm guest using the iso. 2. Notice normal operations. 3. dnf upgrade, reboot. Actual results: xrandr hangs, copy/paste, screen resize broken. Expected results: Normal copy/paste between host/guest, xrandr not hanging. Additional info:
