Description Jason Pepas 2006-07-06 14:21:06 UTC
Running 'rpm -qa' lists many packages twice.

On a fresh, minimal install of FC5, compare the following output:

# rpm -qa | wc -l
343
# rpm -qa | sort | uniq | wc -l
308

Comment 1 Paul Nasrat 2006-07-06 14:45:11 UTC
Multilib packages.

rpm --qf '%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}.%{ARCH}\n' -qa | sort | uniq | wc -l
