This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red
Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested
further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential
inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed
products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update
release.

Comment 4 Jay Turner 2006-08-29 01:13:19 UTC
QE ack for 4.5.

Comment 5 Jay Fenlason 2006-09-15 15:32:53 UTC
I've reworked the patch to return an error rather than silently accepting bad
input. Note that this does not fix the vast majority of places where slapd
silently accepts bad input, just this one.

Comment 14 RHEL Program Management 2007-04-17 21:12:04 UTC
Although this bugzilla was approved for RHEL 4.5, we were unable
to resolve it in time to be included in the release. Therefore
it is now proposed for RHEL 4.6.
