Description of problem:

It's not actually possible to use the generic-release data. If you try to use swap the fedora- pacakges for the generic- packages, you get an error.

The same happens with livemedia-creator, making it impossible for third-party vendors to make (legal) copies of Fedora for internal use.


How reproducible:

$ sudo dnf install generic-* --allowerasing

It will return with a Transaction Test error
