Description of problem: At line 43 in subject file, it reads: modulesymfile := $(KBUILD_EXTMOD)/Modules.symvers I believe this should read: modulesymfile := $(KBUILD_EXTMOD)/Module.symvers as it is in earlier builds. I discovered this as a result of trying to compile linux-wlan-ng which complains about a missing file, but making the typo change still doesn't cure my problem, so there might be further ramifications.
A new kernel update has been released (Version: 2.6.18-1.2200.fc5) based upon a new upstream kernel release. Please retest against this new kernel, as a large number of patches go into each upstream release, possibly including changes that may address this problem.
