We recently re-hired two Power8 machines for Fedora Copr build system, but it seems that we can not build packages against the pre-release centos-stream-9-ppc64le chroot because of this mock failure: ... Running scriptlet: util-linux-core-2.37-1.el9.ppc64le 92/160 Fatal glibc error: CPU lacks ISA 3.00 support (POWER9 or later required) warning: %post(util-linux-core-2.37-1.el9.ppc64le) scriptlet failed, exit status 127 ... Full log: https://download.copr-dev.fedorainfracloud.org/results/praiskup/ping/centos-stream-9-ppc64le/02135293-dummy-pkg/builder-live.log.gz It may be expected, though I'm rather asking.. Is the EL9 supposed to be Power9 only?
Sorry, this is expected. CentOS 9 requires POWER9 or later.
