Doc Type: Deprecated Functionality
Doc Text:
Use of the redhat-operators-stf CatalogSource has been removed from the documentation of Service Telemetry Framework v1.3 which was used to install a copy of the AMQ Certificate Manager Operator to work around that Operator not being available in OpenShift Container Platform versions beyond v4.5. The AMQ Certificate Operator is again available in the redhat-operators CatalogSource from OpenShift Container Platform v4.7, meaning the use of the additional CatalogSource is no longer necessary. To migrate to the built in AMQ Certificate Manager v1.0.1, uninstall the existing AMQ Certificate Manager provided by the redhat-operators-stf CatalogSource, Subscribe to the new AMQ Certificate Manager provided by the redhat-operators CatalogSource (as documented in Service Telemetry Framework v1.3), and then remove the redhat-operators-stf CatalogSource.

Description Leif Madsen 2021-09-09 14:56:05 UTC
Migrate our documentation back to using the built in AMQ Certificate Manager Operator now that it's being released again for OCP 4.7 and 4.8. Make note in release notes that we've changed this and that a customer should migrate away from the infrawatch provided AMQ CertManager.

Provide a knowledge base article or documentation module for how to migrate to the built-in AMQ Cert Manager Operator.

Adjustments to the stf-run-ci and smoke test will need to be made to account for this change.
