Description of problem: Suspect that HAL update (hal-gnome 0.5.7.1.-2.fc5) disabled cd/dvd rom automounting on gnome desktop Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): hal-gnome 0.5.7.1.-2.fc5 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ensure external drive is connected and recognized by system 2. Push eject button on external cd/dvd drive (firewire connected) 3. Insert CD disc into drive tray, close tray Actual results: No disc mounted on gnome desktop. Program selected in preferences to run upon CD insertion (sound-juicer) does not run. Expected results: Disc mounts on gnome desktop. Program selected to run upon CD insertion (sound-juicer) runs. Additional info: Automounting had been working perfectly with prior releases. Behavior first noticed after upgrade performed on Aug 4, 2006
