Description of problem: The /etc/logrotate.d/slurm file is not flagged as a config file in the slurm rpm so local modifications are overwritten on updates. Could this file be flagged as a config file? --Roy Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): slurm-20.11.8-1.el7.x86_64
Thanks much for pointing this out. I will take care of it for future slurm updates. You should be able to use rpmconf, for example, to manage config changes post-upgrade. Phil
