Creating Hosts with Unattended Provisioning Describe the issue: MAC address step is listed twice; see steps 5 and 9. Suggestions for improvement: List it only once.
Oops, I meant steps 7 and 9.
Upon review of our valid but aging backlog the Satellite Team has concluded that this Bugzilla does not meet the criteria for a resolution in the near term, and are planning to close in a month. This message may be a repeat of a previous update and the bug is again being considered to be closed. If you have any concerns about this, please contact your Red Hat Account team. Thank you.
Thank you for your interest in Red Hat Satellite. We have evaluated this request, and while we recognize that it is a valid request, we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. This is due to other priorities for the product, and not a reflection on the request itself. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this feel free to contact your Red Hat Account Team. Thank you.
This is still a problem in the Satellite 6.13 document: _Provisioning Hosts_ Chapter 6.3, "Creating Hosts with Unattended Provisioning" https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.13/html/provisioning_hosts/using_pxe_to_provision_hosts_provisioning#Creating_Hosts_with_Unattended_Provisioning_provisioning Step 9 in that section is a duplicate of step 7. This should be a simple fix to the documentation, so I am re-opening this Bugzilla ticket.
This documentation fix is so incredibly easy -- it is just deleting step 9 of: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.13/html/provisioning_hosts/using_pxe_to_provision_hosts_provisioning#Creating_Hosts_with_Unattended_Provisioning_provisioning ...since it is duplicate of step 7. I understand the Satellite team has a huge backlog, but this Bug could be solved in the same amount of time than it takes to close it as "WONTFIX". Having it fixed in the 6.13 documentation will (or at least "should") ensure it is fixed in future versions of the document.
