The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Do we have any update on this request ? Whether this can be accepted as a valid RFE ?

Is this technically possible on RHEL ? 

If yes, when can this be worked upon ?

Hello, after an investigation of the requested feature I found more components than passwd will be probably affected by the request (imo pam and maybe also sssd). CC'ing @pvrabec for awereness. Peter, do you have any information if there is a such initiative planned for RHEL?
