Description of problem: After installing gnome-shell-extension-refresh-wifi on Fedora 35 the extension is disabled. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-shell-extension-refresh-wifi-6.0-9.fc35.noarch How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install extension 2. re-login into Gnome Shell 3. Actual results: The Gnome Extensions app displays: 'Error: The extension is incompatible with the current GNOME version' Expected results: no such error and a usable extension Additional info:
Still incompatible on Fedora 37 and upstream writes: > Note: Gnome Shell 3.32+ automatically refreshes the wifi list every 15 s. > I really don't see the need for this extension any more. > Nevertheless, I am keeping it updated just in case its needed for some special reason. https://github.com/kgshank/gse-refresh-wifi FWIW, upstream currently supports Gnome Shell 42. Version: gnome-shell-extension-refresh-wifi-6.0-11.fc37.noarch So perhaps this package simply should be orphaned.
Same issue with GNOME 44 on Fedora 38.
