The process has changed this time; wlroots release is out first, sway release candidates will follow. This makes sway less special and gives other compositors time to catch up. Compatible sway rc1/wayfire/cage releases are expected within a week. Mobility SIG will need wlroots0.14 package for phoc, as 0.15 seems to be broken on Vivante GPU[1] (can anyone confirm that?). The changes for wlroots are done[2], and I'm thinking of updating rawhide to sway rc once it's out (with the usual 1 week announcement and side-tags). With wlroots0.14 compat package other compositors can be updated on their own pace.
