Description Fedora Release Engineering 2022-01-27 09:30:28 UTC
pgcli failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f36

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=81985032

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix pgcli at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
pgcli will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 37,
pgcli will be retired, if it still fails to build.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.

Comment 5 Ben Beasley 2022-11-15 14:33:25 UTC
It looks like these test failures are due to trivial differences in tabular output formatting. Two obvious fixes are:

- Skip the two failing tests, or:
- Update F36 from 3.1.0 to 3.4.1 to match F37. Based on the upstream changelogs[1], there should be no obvious breaking changes.

What do you think? Iā€™m happy to help out by implementing either fix.
