Description Fedora Release Engineering 2022-01-27 09:35:59 UTC
python-ase failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f36

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=81985352

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix python-ase at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
python-ase will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 37,
python-ase will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 marcindulak 2022-01-27 22:31:13 UTC
It's probably a regression https://gitlab.com/ase/ase/-/issues/909

Comment 5 marcindulak 2022-01-28 20:21:47 UTC
The build failure was not a regression, but the fix to the previously reported error has not been merged into the latest release. See the above link.
