When trying to update (install-updates) RH6.0 using the update CD's dated
09/29/2000 I get
the following error:

        gnome-libs >= 1.0.17 is needed by gdm-2.0beta2-26       
__________________________________________________________

gnome-libs included in update CD is:  gnome-libs-1.0.10-2.i386.rpm

bill, seems we have a dependency issue here.  comments?

Hm. Looks like you'd have to install the gnome-libs update for 6.1.
