Description of problem: open-vm-tools 12.0.0 has been released. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 12.0.0 Additional info: Open-vm-tools 12.0.0 was released on Mar. 4, 2022. The VMware Tools 12.0.0 was officially released on Mar. 1, 2022. This release contains two new, optional features - Support for managing Salt Minion. - port for gathering and publishing a list of containers running inside Linux guests. and several fixes including: - build with either libfuse2 or libfuse3. It contains a known problem - a potential Fail to Build from Source [FTBFS] and a pointer to an available fix from the "devel" branch at https://github.com/vmware/open-vm-tools/. Did update from open-vm-tools-11.3.5-1 to 12.0.0-1; dnf remove & dnf install from the testing repository - basic desktop testing - screen resize, DnD and copy/paste from/to host desktop. Looks good.

Did update from open-vm-tools-11.2.5-5 to 12.0.0-1; dnf remove & dnf install from the testing repository - basic desktop testing - screen resize, DnD and copy/paste from/to host desktop. Also looks good. Will not provide the karma +1 until after the 7 days, to allow others to pass judgement. Occasional copy/paste issue seen with large (9 MB) files onto nautilus 40.2 file folders. Nautilus process disappears. No problems encountered on f35 with nautilus 41.2 and f36 with nautilus 42.0.
