I clicked on the Release Notes button and that worked allright. But when I clicked on a link in the release notes, the text was replaced with "Release notes missing" - and there is no way back. Dismissing and reopening the release notes window brings you back to "Release notes missing".
David, is this still a problem?
Yes, there are a number of UI problems with the release notes viewer right now. Code is partially there to have it follow links, but we ran in to some other URL grabbing problems and then one thing led to another. Yes, there are some release notes viewer problems still present, but none that prevent installation.
Clicking links has been disabled and I can't get this to occur now. Dropping off the blocker list for FC6 to revisit in FC7 (when we should re-enable link clicking...)
Fedora Core 5 and Fedora Core 6 are, as we're sure you've noticed, no longer test releases. We're cleaning up the bug database and making sure important bug reports filed against these test releases don't get lost. It would be helpful if you could test this issue with a released version of Fedora or with the latest development / test release. Thanks for your help and for your patience. [This is a bulk message for all open FC5/FC6 test release bugs. I'm adding myself to the CC list for each bug, so I'll see any comments you make after this and do my best to make sure every issue gets proper attention.]
