In compliance with the Fedora Extras AWOL Maintainer Policy [1], this is an

official request for your immediate response.

The issue you need to address is bug #193430, which is a request that you

update epiphany-extensions in Extras to the new version (2.14.1) from

upstream, as it fixes some severe gestures- and scroller-related troubles

introduced with GTK 2.8.17+ as well as a crashing bug in the page-info

extension. [2]

Thus, any users of the current package on an updated FC5 installation would

see these bugs and simply would not be able to use the gestures, auto-scroller

or smooth-scroller extensions (the latter two of which I, personally, find

extremely useful). These bugs are so severe, in fact, as to lock up one's

entire desktop session when the user middle-clicks a web page (which is how

these extensions are activated, if they are enabled). Aside from this, the

page-info extension in the current package version will crash quite splendidly

and repeatedly on attempts to use it, and this is also fixed in the new

upstream version.

It has been almost 4 months since I first posted that bug, without so much as

a response. I have emailed you twice about this (message IDs

<44ED45E1.8000401@thecodergeek.com> and <44F78627.5090902@thecodergeek.com>;

copies of which are available upon request), and pinged you on IRC twice (once

earlier today, and another a few weeks ago). I have yet to receive any response
from you, in regards to said bug or otherwise, in any of these forms of

Erm. Not sure why it split the lines of the above post like that; sorry. >_<

I received a response from Chris via IRC (#fedora-extras):

<codergeek42> caillon: Are you around?
<caillon> codergeek42, not really. on vacation.
