Description Ulrich Drepper 2006-10-20 19:10:36 UTC
Description of problem:
After an installation of FC5 and updating to FC6 (no fresh FC6 install) I end up
with

options pwc index=1

in /etc/modprobe.conf. The pwc module does not understand this parameter,
though, and inserting it produces a warning (error?) in syslog:

Oct 16 12:07:35 hostname kernel: pwc: Unknown parameter `index'

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kudzu-1.2.57.1-2.x86_64

How reproducible:
haven't tried

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install pwc camera
2.run kudzu
3.

Actual results:
index parameter added

Expected results:
no parameter added

Fixed to not write the entries in 1.2.58-1, although you'll likely have to
remove the already-written modprobe.conf entries by hand.
