Description Alessio 2022-08-19 10:06:21 UTC
As soon as launched, with or without options, virt-viewer crashes.

$ virt-viewer --help

(process:41805): libsoup-ERROR **: 12:04:59.470: libsoup3 symbols detected. Using libsoup2 and libsoup3 in the same process is not supported.
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)

Comment 1 Victor Toso 2022-08-19 12:28:46 UTC
Ops. So, libsoup detects that it is linking against libsoup3 and libsoup2 and crashes.

spice-gtk 0.41 moved to libsoup3 [0] but libgovirt has release [1] plus build pending in fedora.
I think nothing else in virt-viewer uses libsoup*

I'd recommend the user to downgrade spice-gtk as a workaround.
