Description Juan Larriba 2022-09-16 08:57:30 UTC
Currently, there are some actions during the B&R that need to be retried a number of times because the first time the task is executed, the state of the system might not be yet ready and we need to wait.

This is currently configured at 300 retries, which derive in a 2-hour or more wait until the playbooks fails. The number of retries should be sensibly shorter, to get failed feedback as early as possible while giving the system a reasonable amount of time to reach the desired state.

As all of this time varies wildly between systems, so the number of retries should be a variable that can be user-defined accordingly to their system. The default value will be 10.
