Description of problem:
When yuo use volume control to mute it icon does not get changed. It still shown
as normal.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.16.0.1-7.fc6

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click on volume icon and check mark "Mute" (Ctrl-T)
2. Icon stays the same

Actual results:
Icon stays the same

Expected results:
Icon should change to speaker with white cross in red circle

I can also reproduce this bug on a x86 32bit system.

This should be fixed with the gnome-applets update which I pushed to final 
last night.
