Thanks for a bug report. It looks like a problem in the internal libxmlb data, no idea how that could happen. Could you try to stop gnome-software (gnome-software --quit) and then move away:

   ~/.cache/gnome-software/

rather not delete it, in case the cache is broken in some way, to be able to reproduce the problem. Finally start gnome-software again, the best from a terminal, to see any possible issues there.

Accidentally a similar bug #2148244 had been reported under Fedora 36.

Trying to install Flatseal, the "Open" button showed while the installation was still hapenning, I clicked on it, and the software crashed.

Installing flatpak software using Gnome Software. After installing Gnome DConf Editor Gnome Software was unable to refresh the application details page eventually crashing.
