Description B Kottink 2023-01-30 08:37:53 UTC
Description of problem:
The novnc-1.3.0-5.el7 package cannot be installed because a mandatory dependency is missing. The package python3-websockify does not exist for EPEL7 and the installatioon of the packages aborts:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1.3.0-5.el7

How reproducible:
Just try to install or update novnc

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install novnc

Actual results:
Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package novnc.noarch 0:1.3.0-5.el7 will be installed
--> Processing Dependency: python3-websockify for package: novnc-1.3.0-5.el7.noarch
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: novnc-1.3.0-5.el7.noarch (epel)
           Requires: python3-websockify
 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

Expected results:
Succesful installation of the novnc package including its dependencies
