This crash is occurring a second after a kernel-core crash that cannot be reported due to "The backtrace does not contain enough meaningful function frames to be reported". Version is kernel-core-6.2.1-300.fc38.x86_64.
The kernel core crash is still happening with kernel-core-6.2.2-300.fc38.x86_64.
I'm not sure if it's real or just the phase of the moon, but I'm not seeing the kernel core crash happening with the panel crash with kernel-6.2.2-301.fc38.x86_64. Still getting this panel crash and bug #2173462 whenever the screen wakes up.
Seems it was the phase of the moon, I'm getting the kernel core crash again a second or two before the panel crash. Doesn't seem to happen on every wake-up, just most of them.
my workstation went into hibernate - when it woke up, i got that error. also, the screen layout is messed up and i have to manually configure the screens. reporter: libreport-2.17.10 type: CCpp reason: xfce4-panel killed by SIGSEGV journald_cursor: s=6752e46475e34e43aec844a6a07e4abf;i=40500;b=3bc8074e4a4845eea20da74435481433;m=17e4b7d8b;t=5ff577dd21e70;x=cbf77036b21c1c81 executable: /usr/bin/xfce4-panel cmdline: xfce4-panel cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1000.slice/session-2.scope rootdir: / uid: 1000 kernel: 6.5.0-0.rc0.20230628gt6aeadf78.260.vanilla.fc38.x86_64 package: xfce4-panel-4.18.4-1.fc38 runlevel: N 5 backtrace_rating: 4 crash_function: g_type_check_instance_cast
