Workaround: Go to Gnome settings -> Search -> Turn off "Notes" search provider. It happens in background because it's launched everytime you search for something in Activities.
I was playing a game through the steam flatpak with steam proton. Specifically the game was the witcher 3. In the past 2 hours my computer has completely froze up and then crashes whilst playing this game.
