Was using wacom intuos tablet (Model: CTL-6100WL) in Xournal++ flatpak version when the gnome shell crashed and sent me back to the session login page. Had some other applications open like google chrome, files, terminal, etc which were not being directly used at the time. reporter: libreport-2.17.11 type: CCpp reason: gnome-shell killed by SIGSEGV journald_cursor: s=b76ae9e9ff2d4306952660696ddf4eba;i=909db;b=761738bb158e4363a1f921a8104b273b;m=1691e80893;t=6023b91147ac1;x=757af05112169c18 executable: /usr/bin/gnome-shell cmdline: /usr/bin/gnome-shell cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1000.slice/user/session.slice/org.gnome.Shell rootdir: / uid: 1000 kernel: 6.4.6-200.fc38.x86_64 package: gnome-shell-44.3-1.fc38 runlevel: N 5 dso_list: /usr/bin/gnome-shell gnome-shell-44.3-1.fc38.x86_64 (Fedora Project) 1690024890 backtrace_rating: 4 crash_function: clutter_seat_query_state
Certain inputs with convertible laptop's pen (using libwacom) such as dragging or resizing windows causes gnome-shell to crash with these error messages. I'm not able to reproduce the problem so I'm not 100% sure if this is the center of the issue, but it has happened to me at least 5 times within the last two days. reporter: libreport-2.17.11 type: CCpp reason: gnome-shell killed by SIGSEGV journald_cursor: s=7e742c17ed254bd997d14bcc9cb505db;i=9832d0;b=614f3e08045d4888ad04f5469faf55f5;m=8dcead81c;t=606db3b1bba12;x=e1bb52242a2d1fd6 executable: /usr/bin/gnome-shell cmdline: /usr/bin/gnome-shell cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1000.slice/user/session.slice/org.gnome.Shell rootdir: / uid: 1000 kernel: 6.5.5-200.fc38.x86_64 package: gnome-shell-44.5-1.fc38 runlevel: N 5 backtrace_rating: 4 crash_function: clutter_seat_query_state comment: Certain inputs with convertible laptop's pen (using libwacom) such as dragging or resizing windows causes gnome-shell to crash with these error messages.
