Is it not ifcfg files are deprecated, how this is still supported? Reported by: canoz https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/8/html/configuring_and_managing_networking/consistent-network-interface-device-naming_configuring-and-managing-networking#annotations:71a9020e-9320-4c4d-bc2f-a6bfb3bc023a
It's valid feedback. I added a similar comment to a GDoc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/15qqgMPPbtO-4rA-js4fk9q9Scb9DObtZ6c_sh4gROew/edit?disco=AAAAuVy5xrs) a while ago: It is also about ifcfg deprecation and the new keyfile format, because our docs are not clear about the changes. This will be implemented as part of the revision of the "Consistent device naming" chapter (see https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHELPLAN-137138).
