Description Peter Vrabec 2006-12-06 11:46:24 EST
Description of problem:
If authconfig --{enable,disable}md5 does not setup /etc/login.defs,
shadow-utils doesn't know whether DES or MD5 should be used for passwords
encryption.
Comment 1 Tomas Mraz 2008-01-09 17:49:36 EST
It now sets not only MD5_CRYPT_ENAB but also ENCRYPT_METHOD.
