Created attachment 1960349 [details] Update to 1.20.0 (#2190139)
the-new-hotness/release-monitoring.org's scratch build of micropython-1.20.0-1.fc36.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=100446000
Trying to update to the latest 1.20.0 version. make: *** No rule to make target 'axtls'. Stop This was removed here: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/8916 Removing that make command and adding mbedtls-devel in the BuildRequires results in: Error: micropython-lib submodule is not initialized. Run 'make submodules' Adding %make_build -C ports/unix submodules V=1 and a BuildRequires on git (not git-core) results in: fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git make: *** [../../py/mkrules.mk:224: submodules] Error 128 Maybe relevant commit: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/commit/87011f63530f55411843622af8b1bc2dbf98a6f7
Upstream has a large collection of git submodules in https://github.com/micropython/micropython/tree/master/lib Sometimes, the additional sources of micropython need to be updated to match the ones that are needed. Maybe that's the case here as well.
