Description of problem:
this might be related to my report in bug #2190388
(both Dino and nheko crashed at the same time)

switched virtual desktops
FWIW, KDE Plasma and "Show animation when switching" is set to Slide (that setting unchanged since well before updating to F38 but the crashes are new in F38)
