1. Open a terminal using gnome-terminal
2. Open a second tab in the terminal
3. Maximise the window
4. Do a "cat /var/log/messages*" (or cat some other big ASCII files)
5. Scroll up and down rapidly

You can see redraw artifacts on some of the lines. Stop scrolling while those
artifacts exist.

The customer would like to get a hotfix.  Can the patch get reviewed and rolled
into the build?

This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red
Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release.  Product Management has requested
further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential
inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed
products.  This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update
release.
