Looks like the machine is trying to shut down, and timing out in the process.
What type of machine is this? Can you attach the full log from the boot?

I'd had a problem with Ear Tag app lcoked up but not force quiting. Was trying to kill the process with System Monitor but that was also not working. Did a restart bute the system failed to start. Needed to force the system to shutdown with the power button.

I logged in at the Gnome login prompt. I did nothing else - eventually, the system just froze.

As Zbyszek wrote in bug 2257858 comment 21:

> crash_function: epoll_wait

So the "crash" is really an abort when the program is stuck, waiting for the kernel to schedule it again.
As I wrote above, it's hard to figure out what is going on. Maybe the system is overloaded,
or maybe there are hardware problems.

In any case, I don't see much sense in keeping this open, as there's nothing we could do on systemd's side.

It is unknown, it crashed while shutdown, causing a kernel panic, as i remember.

When copying files to an NTFS drive using GNOME Files, the application became unresponsive. After force-quitting it, the system automatically logged me out. When attempting to log back in, there was no response after entering the correct password. Upon rebooting, the system prompted me to report an issue.
