Description of problem: When we are trying to certify our SQL Server container image using the pre-flight tool we see the below error: time="2023-05-12T04:25:12-07:00" level=debug msg="found disallowed modification in layer" file=usr/lib64/gconv/gconv-modules.cache layer="sha256:39d44152e9ed701655390c902e0f3c799ad0227667672b6e18504897ba363747" time="2023-05-12T04:25:12-07:00" level=info msg="check completed" check=HasModifiedFiles result=FAILED We have not modified any of the base files that are shipped as part of the RHEL 8.7 UBI images, but still see this issue. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Pre-flight 1.63 as got from here: https://github.com/redhat-openshift-ecosystem/openshift-preflight/releases How reproducible: When we run the pre-flight tool in our environment to push our image for certification we see this error, we can share any further details if required. Hey Amit, Are you using the 1.6.3 version of Preflight, Can you send us the log of the same error with Preflight 1.6.3? If you are certifying the container, you might have an account at connect.redhat.com . Instead of going through emails, and opening Bugzilla, you can directly open a support case with the certification team from here: https://connect.redhat.com/support/technology-partner Please open the case from here, and share the case number with your error logs(which show you are using 1.6.3 as the attached one shows 1.6.2 version) and the docker file of this particular image(needed).
