Description John Dodson 2023-05-28 04:43:49 UTC
Description of problem:
On the https://bugzilla.redhat.com website I seem to get timed out quickly.
But it tells me I have a long timeout set!

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Current

How reproducible:
For me, always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to https://bugzilla.redhat.com using email address.
2. Hover mouse over my name, at the bottom (of the popup) it shows,
(at Sun 28 May 2023 14:29:40 AEST)

        Session expires at:
        29/05/2023, 6:13:56 am

Note that there is no "Timezone" stated, & that would appear to ~16 hours hence.

Then if I continue to hover over that, another popup appears with,

Your session will expire in 945 minutes

3. These numbers are obviously not accurate as the session will generally expire
after a few minutes of inactivity.

Actual results: Data not related to the current timezone of the user, or even seemingly any sensible understanding of a timeout period.

Expected results: Meaningful & accurate information regarding time/session expiry.
Obviously one thing required is an indication of the related timezone.

Is there a way to set a timeout other than the default?

Comment 2 John Dodson 2023-08-07 01:56:24 UTC
Any news on this?
