Description Wolfgang Rupprecht 2007-01-05 22:45:02 UTC
Description of problem:
jwhois no longer redirects whois queries for entries from *.com.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
jwhois-3.2.3-8

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. jwhois wsrcc.com

Actual results:
One sees a page from verisign-grs.com stating that one needs to ask gandi.net
for more information.

Expected results:
jwhois should automatically ask gandi.net for the information.

Additional info:
Internic appears to recently have changed the name of their whois server and the
regexp's in /etc/jwhois.conf need to have the new name added.

Thanks for the patch!

I have sent the patch upstream, and added it in rawhide jwhois-3.2.3-10.
