Previously DNF had --refresh parameter that can invalidate cache during the update to get a just added packages. Right now the only way that I know if to run `dnf clean expire-cache` before running the update to ensure you're getting latest packages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. dnf upgrade --refresh Actual Results: Unknown argument "--refresh" for command "upgrade" Expected Results: dnf invalidates cache and then performs "fresh" upgrade
This was recently added into the upstream: https://github.com/rpm-software-management/dnf5/issues/227. Will be delivered in the following dnf5 release.
