Please branch and build file in epel8.

Fedora’s version has fix for pie executable, for instance, and would be helpful on enterprise linux.

If you do not wish to maintain file in epel8,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS dorafee);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/<package>/adduser

The file package is in RHEL-8, so it cannot be added to EPEL-8.
