Description of problem: dotnet7.0-7.0.107-1.el8_8 sources are not available in CentOS Stream 8 gitlab Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): dotnet7.0-7.0.107-1.el8_8 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Check https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/rpms/dotnet7.0/-/tree/c8s?ref_type=heads for latest dotnet7.0 version Actual results: Latest version is dotnet7.0-7.0.104-1.el8_7 Expected results: Latest version is dotnet7.0-7.0.107-1.el8_8 Additional info: According to recent blog post: https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/red-hats-commitment-open-source-response-gitcentosorg-changes "CentOS Stream moves faster than RHEL, so it might not be on HEAD, but the code is there. If you can’t find it, it’s a bug – please let us know."
The version strings will never exactly match up, because CentOS Stream 8 is tracking the next minor release of RHEL 8 (8.9 at this time) and the version of the package in there has to be newer than what's in currently released RHEL 8. Even if both are at 7.0.107, RHEL 8 will call it something like -7.0.107-1.el8_8 while CentOS Stream 8 will call it something like -7.0.107-2.el8. That said, I have updated the centos stream 8 git repository to the 7.0.108, matching the latest version in RHEL 8.8.z. https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/rpms/dotnet7.0/-/tree/c8s
